Get involved

Upon joining Brunel, our students begin a lifelong connection with the university. Whether you are still a student, or you haven’t visited the Brunel campus for decades, there are so many ways to get involved with Brunel during our anniversary and beyond:

Attend one of our events

We will be hosting a range of events throughout the year, on campus and around the world. Visit our events page for more information and to register. If you can’t find an event in your country, we may be able to help you get in touch with other local alumni to arrange a celebration. Contact us on

Share your memories

We are collecting photos and memories from alumni, staff and students from the last 50 years to create a collage that will illustrate the changes that have taken place at Brunel over the years.  So dig out those old photo albums (or dust off that memory card) and share your photos and anecdotes with us. Explore Brunel in 50 Objects

We will be launching an exhibition in the autumn term, which features 50 objects that have helped to shape the university. This exhibition will form a trail around campus, and a map will be provided to help you find everything. If you are unable to get to Brunel, you can take a look at the exhibition online. The launch of the exhibition will be announced on this website, as well as on our social media channels.

Leave a greeting on our map

Whether you’re working in Washington or travelling in Thailand, we would love to hear from you. Leave a greeting on our world map here.

Spread the word

There are more than 122,000 Brunelians around the world. With people moving house and changing email addresses, sometimes we lose touch with alumni and staff. If you are still in contact with your Brunel classmates or colleagues, please do encourage them to get involved in the celebrations as we may not have been able to reach them. The more the merrier!
